(OHSAS 18001 is due to change to a newly formed ISO 45001 standard. This is slightly behind the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards in terms of release dates. The committee draft of this standard was released back in July 2014 and is available for comment.
The draft international standard is due for release in the Spring of 2015. The final draft of the International Standard is currently looking on course to be published in the summer of 2016. The full international standard is then due to be released in late 2016/early 2017 with a transition period of three years from the date of the final release.

An ISO compliant manual needs to be drafted to your chosen ISO standard, this can be done by a consultant or by yourself using a QMS template.
Your new ISO manual must now be brought into use within your Organisation.
To gain certification an accredited QMSCERT auditor must now visit your Organisation to check that the documented processes in the manual are being followed. Accreditation will be awarded based on compliance to the relevant standard. A certificate will be provided once the report has been approved.
To ensure your certification remains valid, your manual and processes must be checked on an annual basis by QMSCERT, with annual assessments, and or recertifications, being carried out.
